Internet black-out
I went to the office to check if it's off there as well and it was. By not having internet, I was unable to do some important stuff that needed to be done...so I had to overload this day!
So, I will be quite busy today, not mentioning a lot of scanning which is still in front of me :)
Gotta finish some stuff before the deadlines, Cheers :)

another straightforward day
Just, 2 days ago was the Estonian Independence day, so nobody was working...myself included.
Basically I am 3 hours in the printing museum (in the morning), then I go scan scan some pages, then eat and finally scan again until I go to sleep. Of course, I would go crazy if I would do just that so I'm multi-tasking to keep my mind and hands busy.
Well, nothing more to write actually, since it's just one of the regular days :)

scanning in process
It's going quite slow, but I think I'll manage.
Other than that, I have been making more booklets for the Printing Museums's future sponsors.
So, as you can see, these days were and will be quite busy for me...but that's a good thing cause I like to be of use to someone :).
Until the next time I have something to report,
Cheers. :D

scanning 3000 pages
This is the best way of not dieing of boredom in the process xD.
Other than that, I have been doing just classic, usual stuff - making notebooks, showing people how to use the machines here, etc.
Well, wish me luck with this enormous task :)
Cheers!

Review #5
I can now say, from my rich experience, how is life in the North. I have been through the harsh Estonian winter when it was even 31 degrees under zero. I know how Estonians live, think, I can feel and completely understand their lives here. It has already been a wonderful experience in this "Winter Wonderland" as my time is slowly coming to an end and I'm positive that I will never forget it.
Even though there are still 4 months to go, now everything has become a daily routine...but nothing has lost the initial interest - I am still interested in all of the stuff we're doing here and still participate in most of the events and workshops.
Now I am a young master printer and know my way around pretty much everything - I can show people around, show them how to make stuff and be there for them as a contact person.
For the remaining few months I will do my best in keeping my focus to the cause and complete this expeience as best as I possibly can. :)

Day 3 - Final day
Today is the final day of the Riga fair...I'm just waiting for some more time to start going there.
Actually, I can't wait to return home to Tartu cause these have been 2 long days and I have already seen far too many people for my tastes ;)
Well, I'll be roaming around the net here in the common room until I have to leave. The snow is falling quite heavily outside so I don't want to go anywhere.
I'll let you know once back in Tartu.

Balttour 2012 in Riga
So, today was the first day of the Riga tourism fare. I can actually say that it was unexpectedly good considering I had some issues at the beginning, but I actually overcame them and the rest of the day was entertaining ;)
It will last for 2 more days, so my next post will have some pics included as well.
Btw., I'm staying in a hostel which is called the Naughty Squirrel xD - but there's nothing naughty in it. :)
Ok, so, Until my next update, 2-3 days from now :D

Balttour 2012
He will help me set everything and I'm supposed to be there for 2 working days, presenting the Printing Museum and making postcards from the already set form...so it will just be a matter of pulling the lever.
We prepared everything yesterday, so I think there is nothing to worry about - as it should be not some big kind of an event :).
So, gonna do some more stuff around the museum and later rest a bit, cause the upcoming days will be quite demanding, or definitely more demanding than the museum work.

we got a cat! :D
He's really cute and he likes to play (bite) a lot. I'll upload a few pictures of him soon :)
Katie will be leaving to Viljandi today, so I'll be in the printing museum by myself. She's going on a workshop there and to visit Madis' student club.
Other than that, there's nothing special - except that it's freakingly cold outside!!!

A true ice age
Currently, it's -25 degrees outside and the weather report says it will get even colder these upcoming days...up to 37 degrees below zero!!!! That's insane.
The roads are frozen, there is snow everywhere and even the air is frozen...and regardless the amount of warm clothes you wear, you're still cold.
I have expected it to be this cold, but I couldn't prepare for the actual Estonian winter.
Well, I guess the best thing to do is actually be home all time, go out only when you really have to. :D

4 months to go :)
I expect many good things will happen during it, especially my private projects I've been working on lately.
I've been doing some stuff for Madis in the office and helping with some stuff in the printing museum, nothing special.
These days I'm constantly searching for European funds and communicating with people around the world to be able to acquire valuable contacts and possible partners in the future.
I have been here for exactly 8 months already (6 in Estonia, 2 in Croatia/Serbia) and as I have only 4 remaining - I should really do my best in these upcoming months :)
Ok, I'm gonna continue working so I can keep my promise to myself...as well as the promise to keep updating my blog every 2-3 days, as I have done up to now :D
Cheers!
